Colored Glass | A Digital Lithography Experiment

Each layer of the image was painted in black on white paper, scanned, layered, and colored. I like mixing hand work with digital.

I studied stone lithography while creating the experiment. Each layer is a seperate color layer. I know that physical ink would print quite differently. But that is the beauty of Photoshop.

The following images show the layers.
I used the blend tool to simulate a fountain blend.
The shape is made by painting the overall shape with acrylic paint. The texture of ink rolled with a brayer was added to the photoshop brush as a texture.
